YXLP · Buyer brief
Contoured Pouch Men's Underwear OEM
Several reviewed men's boxer briefs show a contoured front. That shape is a pouch pattern you can point at. It is not a measurement of depth, and it is not an inside view. One catalog address says hammock. Those pictures are exterior prints. They do not show a hammock, a pouch lining or a fly. YXLP can sample the front you specify when the inside construction is in the brief, not assumed from the photograph.
Who this brief is for
DTC brands
Your reviews talk about support. Put the pouch pattern in the tech pack. An outside contour does not prove a hammock.
Importers
A listing that says 3D pouch or hammock is a title. Ask for an inside view on the sample before you repeat those words.
Retailers
A fly and a closed front are different products. A seam or a colored insert is not an opening until you say it is.
Decisions to make before you compare quotes
Describe the outside shape you can see, then the inside construction you still have to specify.
| Decision | What to record |
|---|---|
| Outside shape | Contoured front, or a flat front. Say which photo you mean |
| Inside | Panel count, lining and attachment. Not visible in these photos |
| Opening | Closed front, or a fly with direction, length and overlap |
| Hammock | Only if your reference shows one. The hammock address does not |
| Fit | Pouch room on a worn sample, by size. A photo does not measure it |
Sampling path
Step 1
Use the contour, and stop there
The blue body with black inner-leg panels shows a contoured front. The waistband close-up shows a bound curved seam. Neither frame measures depth or lining. Write the pattern you want, or ask the factory to mark the panels on the sample.
Step 2
Do not brief a hammock from the printed set
That record is exterior print and placeholder waistband text. It does not show a hammock, a lining or a fly. If you need an internal hammock, send an inside drawing or a reference garment and ask to approve that construction on a sample.
Step 3
Say whether the front opens
A red insert, a horizontal seam and a visible pouch seam are not proof of a fly. Draw the opening if you need one. If the front is closed, say so, so a seam is not mistaken for an opening.

Questions buyers ask
Do the photos show a hammock?
No. The set whose address says hammock is exterior prints with placeholder logos. They do not show a hammock, a pouch lining or a fly. Approve an inside construction on a sample.
Is a contoured front a 3D pouch?
The photo shows a contour. It does not measure depth or lining. The old title is not a pattern. Say whether the front is closed, and ask for an inside view if the pouch pattern matters.
Does a red insert or a front seam mean there is a fly?
No. Draw the direction, length and overlap if you need an opening. If the front is closed and the color is only a color, say that. This page states no price.
